The Saw

Final project for Design 1. Based of the Fibonaci Sequence and the Mandala.

The Wait

size: 10"x13" | medium: FW Acrylic Inks | paper: BFK Rives
I spent a very long time on this one. It came out alright, but I'm not sure if the teacher would like it. The theme word is "wait", hence the title.

Skull Rendering

size: 10"x10" | medium: Graphite | paper: Cream Paper
This is the skull rendering for my Head and Hands class. I think it came out rather nice. I didn't want to use a blending stump, but I bit the bullet and went with it. Glad I did, I got a larger range of values this way. :)

Endurance

size: 15"x10" | medium: FW Acrylic Inks | paper: BFK Rives

Composition & Drawing final. I have to do two illustrations following at theme word. This one is endurance, since it's basically what I see everyday for over an hour trip to school. D: Anyways, it's not all ink, there is some chalk and watercolor pencil work, but minute amount. If anyone ever drove through the Newhall pass, you would know where this one is. :)

CAUGHT

size: 10"x13.5" | medium: FW Acrylic Inks | paper: BFK Rives

This is my most recent assignment at art center. The theme was distortion and the topic word was "Caught". Basically, we take a mirror and tilt it downward. Draw what we see and then take pictures of ourselves and composite them together using size and warping of the figure into the drawing we already did. Then print it out and draw from that.

First Blog

Well, this is my first blog ever. Everyone I know kept saying I should do a blog, well here I am. :)
